Health Declaration
By booking and/or attending any session, class, or event at Pilates Hampshire, The client confirms that they are in good physical condition and have no medical condition, injury, or impairment that may affect their ability to safely participate.
It is the client’s sole responsibility to inform Pilates Hampshire prior to any session of any medical condition, injury, pregnancy, or change in health status that may be aggravated by participation or that has arisen since the client’s last attendance.
Clients with low or high blood pressure, cardiac conditions, or other relevant medical issues must not attend sessions without prior medical clearance. Where any doubt exists, the client must consult a medical professional before participation.
Pilates Hampshire reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to refuse access to any client where participation may pose a risk to the client or others.
Any accident, injury, or incident occurring on the premises must be reported to a member of staff immediately.
Pregnancy – Pre and Post Natal
Clients who are pregnant or post-natal may participate only with the consent of their physician, GP, or midwife.
Such clients acknowledge that Pilates Hampshire instructors are not medical professionals and do not provide medical advice. Participation level, exercise selection, and intensity remain the sole responsibility of the client in consultation with their medical provider.
Clients must immediately cease activity upon discomfort and seek medical advice. Participation during pregnancy or post-natal periods is undertaken entirely at the client’s own risk, including risk to the client and, where applicable, their unborn child.
Any health information provided will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including GDPR.
Bookings and Cancellations
All services are subject to availability and are booked on a first-come, first-served basis.
Bookings may be made online, via Whatsapp, by email, phone, or in person.
A £30 fee is payable upon booking with the balance paid upon completion of the session
Cancellations or rescheduling must be made no less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time. Failure to comply will result in the session being charged in full.
Membership clients will be charged for late cancellations and no-shows at the applicable single-session rate. Unused credits expire at the end of the billing period.
Where Pilates Hampshire cancels a service, the client will be credited accordingly.
Use of Facilities
Clients shall comply with all instructions issued by instructors and staff at all times.
Studio equipment may not be used without supervision or outside of scheduled sessions.
Pilates Hampshire reserves the right to withdraw or modify facilities, equipment, or services at any time for maintenance, safety, or operational reasons.
Mobile phone use during sessions is discouraged unless previously agreed with the instructor.
Clients under 18 years of age must obtain prior approval before attending sessions.
Session Times and Lateness
Session schedules are subject to change without notice.
Clients arriving more than 10 minutes late may be refused entry without refund, at the instructor’s discretion, for safety reasons.
Private session lateness is managed at the instructor’s discretion and does not extend the session duration.
Personal Property
All personal belongings are brought onto the premises at the client’s own risk. Pilates Hampshire accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to personal property.
Dress Code
Clients must wear appropriate Pilates attire and avoid clothing containing zips or sharp elements and no Jewellery. Sessions are conducted barefoot or with suitable grip socks.
Safety and Hygiene
Only water is permitted in studio spaces.
No animals are permitted except registered assistance dogs.
Guests remain the responsibility of the client. Pilates Hampshire accepts no liability for guest conduct or property.
By booking, clients confirm they understand safe use of equipment and agree to follow all studio safety protocols.
Instructors may provide corrective physical contact for safety and technique. Pilates Hampshire reserves the right to restrict participation where a client cannot safely follow instructions.
Validity and Expiry
Introductory offers are valid from the date of first use.
Memberships commence on the purchase date and renew monthly on the same date.
All sessions and packages are valid from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated.
Payments
All sessions must be paid in advance or in Cash upon arrival, where agreed.
All purchases are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-exchangeable.
Package extensions may be granted at the discretion of Pilates Hampshire for an additional fee.
Recurring Bookings
Clients authorise Pilates Hampshire to charge the payment card on file for recurring bookings and renewals.
Where an instructor is unavailable, Pilates Hampshire will provide reasonable notice and propose an alternative.
Failure to attend recurring bookings remains subject to the standard cancellation policy. Repeated cancellations may result in loss of the reserved slot.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions commence immediately upon purchase and are subject to a minimum three-month term.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled in writing with at least 30 days’ notice following the minimum term.
Subscriptions may not be frozen, transferred, shared, extended, or refunded.
Classes must be used within each billing period.
Bookings
• All sessions are booked online through our website
• Sessions are offered as 1:1 or 2:1 only
• Availability is limited and subject to change
Payments
Full payment is required at the time of booking
Prices are displayed on the website
We do not currently offer packages or memberships
Cancellations
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule
Cancellations within 24 hours are charged at 100%
No-shows are charged at 100%
Late arrivals may result in a shortened session
Health and Safety
All clients must complete a health questionnaire via our Waiver page before their first session
You must inform us of any injuries, medical conditions, or changes to your health
Medical clearance is required for existing injuries or conditions
You take responsibility for working within your own limits
Participation at Your Own Risk
Pilates Hampshire is not responsible for injuries sustained during sessions
Participation is at your own risk
Instructions are given in good faith and based on the information you provide
Age Policy
Sessions are available to adults aged 18 and over only
Studio Conduct
Respect the private nature of the studio
Follow instructions to ensure a safe environment
We reserve the right to refuse service if these terms are breached
